Since opening our first escape rooms in The Hague in 2013, we’ve always searched for new ways to amaze people—by transporting them into exciting worlds and helping them escape reality for a while.
After creating more than 10 highly successful physical escape rooms, we began looking for new challenges and bigger thrills
Then we experienced our first free-roam VR escape room—and our minds were blown. We immediately knew this was the future: the next generation of escape rooms for the people of The Hague.
At Amaze Escape, our slogan is more than words—it’s our mindset. We’re constantly pushing boundaries to bring fresh, innovative experiences from the escape room world and the wider entertainment industry.
The rules are simple.
Your team of 2–6 players enters the escape room world—and the clock starts ticking. You’ll have 60 minutes to solve a series of puzzles, riddles, and mysteries in order to complete your mission. As the seconds slip away, the pressure rises.
To escape, you’ll need nothing but sharp wits and strong teamwork. Clues are hidden deep within the room, and only the combined focus of the entire team will uncover them all.

Playing a traditional escape room and a virtual reality escape room has far more in common than you might expect. Interaction, teamwork, physical movement, and tangible puzzles are all shared elements.
A VR escape room is not a computer game. Instead, it expands the possibilities of a traditional escape room—opening new horizons and transporting players into an entirely new dimension, while preserving all the real, social aspects of playing together.
